We stand for sustainability, that is more than just a catch word and that should be reflected upon critically. Therefore universities such as BOKU have a responsibility in the regards towards society. They should take on the position of a role model by creating structures that make sustainable living, learning and teaching viable.

Students should be enabled to look beyond one’s own nose and to take part in discourse within society. Wholesome thinking includes next to ecological themes, social and economical aspects and all that should be part of our studies. Furthermore we foster critical discourse that encompasses next to other question ethics in research.
